Cropland's consultants work directly with growers and packers to determine their specific food safety needs. Services offered range from general consulting to complete food safety program management.
Food safety programs developed and implemented by Cropland Consulting will meet the food safety requirements set by the grower and/or packer's customers and food safety compliance regulations set and regulated by the governing state and federal entities. Once a food safety program is in place, we offer services to ensure continued compliance, on an as needed basis per the operation.
Our consultants are trained and certified for food safety guidance, record preparation, and employee training adhering to the following food safety standards:
Farm Food Safety & GAP’s & GMP’s as outlined by the FSMA, USDA and GFSI.
Consultants additionally hold certifications in GFSI Internal Auditing, HACCP, and as PCQI’s.
When required Cropland Consulting can act as the operation's designated food safety representative, including but not limited to:
· Scheduling of annual audits.
· Maintaining the role of main point of contact between each operation and their respective certification bodies, prior to and post audit.
· The on-site presence of a Cropland consultant the day of audit, where our consultant will take the lead in guiding the inspector/auditor through all policies, records, and physical inspections.
Cropland Consulting provides guidance on current regulations and requirements for both water and environmental pathogen testing.
